Celebrating the life of Te Moeka o Tūawe (Fox Glacier), The Last Light Falls Gently explores the glacier’s quiet but powerful presence on New Zealand’s southwest coast and its profound impact on the community that surrounds it.

This beautiful long-form debut from director Matt Cherubino is a meditative reflection on change, connection, and acceptance. Shot over three years in collaboration with Hunt Cinema in Wānaka, it’s a deeply personal project and a true labour of love.

The film is currently screening in 20 locations as part of the Arc'teryx Winter Film Tour across Australia and New Zealand. and is set to launch online this December.
